St Thomas is situated in the Cathedral City of Exeter on the western side of the river Exe , connected to Exeter by Exe Bridge. The urban area that built up here but was not originally part of Exeter. The other part, about a mile to the west of the main body of the parish, contained the hamlet of Oldridge and was transferred to the parish of Whitestone in 1884.

Exebridges Retail Park is invaluable and consists of 5 retail units. Existing tenants include M&S Simply Food, TK Maxx, Next, Boots, and Pizza Hut.

Exeter's Historic Quayside is one of the most attractive areas of the city, popular with locals and visitors alike for its fascinating history, interesting architecture and lively pubs and restaurants. Throughout the year events are held around the quay, everything from 10k runs to live music.

The Quayside has been enhanced to provide a fascinating mix of historic and contemporary design. It is the ideal place to browse in antique shops, walk and cycle, take a relaxing boat trip or find something good to eat.

Adjoining St.Thomas is a suburb of Exeter called Exwick which has excellent access to St.Davids Railway Station and also the city centre.  Alphington is also now a suburb of the City which is a former manor and village on the Southwestern side of Exeter. It is surrounded on two sides by countryside, with the Marsh Barton trading estate to the east and Exeter City to the north. The Alphin Brook passes around the Northern edge of Alphington and there is excellent access to the main commuter routes including the M5 motorway, A380, A38 and A30.

Anne Ager Seller in Dawlish

"Unfortunately I found myself in the position of having to put my late Mother's property on the market at the beginning of this year. It is always a very stressful time for close family, especially if you live in another country, and have never had to do it before! I was very nervous, apprehensive, and really did not know which way to turn. With the advice of my Mother's bank, and many close friends, four local Dawlish estate agents were suggested to me. I saw one, whom I knew was wrong from the word go, and then I met with Chris Parkes from Fraser Wheeler. This was the turning point! I had not only met an agency that I knew were sympathetic with the personal situation, but, were also very forward thinking and pro-active as far as a potential sale was concerned. I was so impressed and confident with our initial discussions and feedback, that I cancelled the following two agents' appointments the very next day. Fraser & Wheeler were absolutely wonderful, and took away a large part of the hassle that is usually involved with a property sale, and their follow up to detail was amazing. Within four days of the property going on the market, they had found a secure buyer for me. I would strongly recommend anyone who is selling a property in the Dawlish, Teignmouth, Starcross area to contact Fraser & Wheeler .... especially if you happen to be living outside the UK (or in another part of the country), and at a distance. They have the ability to make all the property selling wheels run so smoothly for you. A big Thank You to Fraser & Wheeler."
